SATISFACTION
After his successful 2022 Nathan hits top spot and the podium for the first time this year! As some commented there is some trouble with 'trouble' as an anagram indicator placed after the anagram fodder but the surface carried it through! Congratulations to Nathan!
Second place to Luciano – third podium of the year! – with a well disguised definition in his clue.
Third place and a third podium in a row for Philip Sant! If it wasn't for the debate between 'rock' and 'rocks' this surely would have been a clear cut winner – great effort.
Fourth place and a new name on the podium! Well done and welcome Wendy Wethey! Another nounal anagram indicator plus debatable central indicator, but that doesn't worry every voter – sometimes the surface wins over!
Final podium spot goes to Barry Solomons – first one for a while, so well done – straightforward anagram but a concise and effective story.
Thanks to all as usual for your continued support!
