CORNFLAKES

This was a close one. Barely a cornflake separated the first two clues but in the end Steve Hicks squeezed into first place, following up his 2nd place in January. A neat anagram &lit – congrats to Steve.

The unlucky bridesmaid was John Hood with what was another neat anagram (without the &lit though). There were just 2 points in it, but it notches up John's first podium of the year.

A little further back in 3rd place was Nick Smith who found the same anagram as John. This is Nick's first podium for a couple of years, so well done sir!

Fourth spot went to Terry Neale, who last reached the top 5 in October last year. Another nice anagram coupled with a smooth surface.

Final placing went to Steve Randall. Whilst you are managing to keep him away from the upper echelons of the podium so far this year, this is still his second score of 2021. Very similar anagram to Terry and again a convincing surface story.

Thanks to all for the efforts you continue to put it, which makes it all worthwhile – good luck on your April Odyssey!
