About this clue type

From the preamble to Azed No. 1441

In the answers to 14 clues a variety of bugs (loosely) have disrupted the new millennium, producing non-words. In the clues to each of these the definition refers to the uncorrupted answer, while the cryptic part refers to the corrupted form to be entered in the diagram. Other clues are normal. Competitors should submit with their entry a clue to an appropriate word of their own choosing, featuring a different bug (albeit of the same general type). To limit their choice somewhat, the uncorrupted word should be of no more than nine letters and the bug of no more than six letters. Please indicate clearly the word(s) being clued.
